November 13 Paris attacks

Coordinated attacks left 130 people dead across Paris and the nearby suburb of Saint Denis on November 13, 2015. The Islamic State terrorist group launched a series of shootings and suicide bombings at several locations in the French capital, including the Stade de France sports stadium, café terraces and the Bataclan concert hall. Twenty defendants eventually stood trial including the sole surviving attacker, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2022.
